This weekend’s fixture

Pewsey Vale face Combe Down II this weekend – 16 Nov – at the Angela Yates Memorial Ground as they continue their 2019/20 Dorset and Wilts 2 North campaign.

Pewsey have yet to face Combe Down II who currently sit second from bottom. The visitors will look to continue their winning ways after they secured their first victory on Saturday against a strong Amesbury side.

Pewsey have now had 2 weekends off following the recent postponed fixture at Melksham – due to a waterlogged pitch and their cup game against Colerne postponed due to the RWC Final the weekend before. Pewsey’s last league match was home at the back-end of October against Swindon College Old Boys II where they came out victors 29-10. The last time Pewsey played a Combe Down team they had…..a lot…….of points scored against them. Pewsey will be hoping that history does not repeat itself.

If team selection this weekend can reflect that which was expected against Melksham, Pewsey will be put themselves in a very good position to come away with the bonus point victory.

Kick-off is currently scheduled for 1430. Please come down to the club (which is getting better and better as the weeks go by) and support the lads.

  1. I have been unable to find, on this website, the Fixtures List for this season !
Can you please guide me to that information, we have some planning to do with visitors, who wish to see home matches
Also, going to the Clubhouse category there is no information / pictures / reports about progress there – how do I find that information ?
    Regards, Tony & Gill Hayes.

  2. Tony, Gill,

If you follow the tabs above you’ll be able to find the fixtures for the season. It can be found under ‘Teams’ and ‘1XV’. You can find all the fixtures, scores and league table.

As for clubhouse updates, I will try and get some pictures and an update from the committee to add to the website.

    Thanks,

    Pete
